Personality: Shamus has a very quiet yet strict personality and believes that everyone deserves a second chance. He feels that one should do the best that they can to make life better for everyone and to give all you have for others. This however is masked under a bloodthirsty rage for the hearts of every last man woman and child by the darkness wrought upon him from within that door.
Shamus now fights the darkness inside him, struggling against the creature that controls him while fighting to remain human.
History: Shamus holds no memory of his original home, only the world in which he finds himself. His parents a part of a group called Synners, looking for a paradise that they claimed held no one to treat them wrong, a place where they would all be free of the prejudices of those around them. Shamus's parents died while he was at a young age, his mother giving birth to his younger brother some years down the line, his father a week later in the grief of the loss of his life partner.
When the door to paradise was found, Shamus was in the front lines, wanting to escape the horrors he had witnessed, wanting a new life for himself, to lose his past and live free. When the creatures appeared and began to take over his fellow people, his mind weak with grief, was easy prey to be taken over, his inner turmoil far too weak to stand up to the magical assaults
